Join me for a weekend of sculpting the figure in clay directly from life. In this workshop, we will work from life. You can start at 1/4 life size and produce a fresh full figure, or you can copy the torso alone, scaling it down to half life size.

The class will concentrate on comprehending the anatomy and proportions of the figure. I will illustrate the fundamental anatomical structures by sketching muscles directly on the model. We will take basic measurements from the model to determine her proportions, but our primary focus will be on enhancing our observational skills and producing a new study that encapsulates the essence of the model.
