Come join me for a week of sculpting the figure in clay, directly from life! 

In this workshop we will be sculpting the full female figure at a half life scale. This course is a perfect opportunity for those of you who have done some figure sculpting before and are looking to improve your skills. Every month we aim to host these longer pose courses so that you have the opportunity to sketch the full figure and really get stuck into sculpting! 

The focus of the class will be on understanding the anatomy and proportions of the figure. I will be demonstrating the underlying anatomical structures through processes like drawing muscles directly on to the model. We will take basic measurements from the model to establish her proportions, but mainly work on improving our observational skills…
