Come join me for a weekend of sculpting the figure in clay, directly from life! In this workshop, we will be working from life, you can work from 1/4 life size and produce a fresh full figure or decide to copy the torso alone, scaling it down to half-life size. However, if you are interested in copying a different part of the body, let me know!

The focus of the class will be on understanding the anatomy and proportions of the figure. I will be demonstrating the underlying anatomical structures through processes like drawing muscles directly onto the model. We will take basic measurements from the model to establish her proportions, but mainly work on improving our observational skills and creating a fresh study that captures the essence of the model.
