Come join me for a weekend of sculpting the figure in clay, directly from life! In this workshop, we will be copying the model's torso and scaling it down to half-life size. However, if you are interested in producing a full 1/4 life-size figure or in coping a different part of the body, let me know!

The focus of the class will be on understanding the anatomy and proportions of the figure. I will be demonstrating the underlying anatomical structures through processes like drawing muscles directly on to the model. We will take basic measurements from the model to establish her proportions, but mainly work on improving our observational skills and creating a fresh study which captures the essence of the model.
