Service Description
Limited to 7 spaces. 10:30am- 5:00pm with 1 hour lunch break. Life Modelling Weekend 10:30am – 5:00pm (Saturday & Sunday) Spend two immersive days sculpting from a live model in a relaxed and supportive studio environment. Working from direct observation, you’ll develop your understanding of anatomy, proportion, gesture and form while creating a figurative sculpture in clay. Throughout the weekend you’ll be guided through the sculpting process with demonstrations and plenty of individual tuition, whether you’re new to figurative sculpture or looking to develop your existing practice. You can choose to create either a half life-size torso or a quarter life-size full figure, depending on your interests and experience. With a maximum of 7 participants, the workshop offers an intimate setting with plenty of one-to-one guidance. All clay, materials, use of tools, model fees and refreshments are included. Your sculpture can be taken home at the end of the weekend, or it can be fired for an additional fee.
Cancellation Policy
A minimum of 14 days’ notice is required to receive a full refund. Cancellations made after this period are eligible for a refund only if the school is able to fill the place. All approved refunds are subject to a 3.5% administrative fee. This fee is applied solely to cover bank and payment processing costs incurred by the school.
