Service Description

Spaces are limited (maximum of 7 participants), so early booking is recommended. An intensive study of the hand as both structure and expression. Through observation, we will simplify its complex anatomy into clear forms, developing proportion, rhythm and gesture in clay. We will work from casts to copy or be inspired by them. Pieces can be fired for an additional fee. Please enquire about firing at the beginning of the class. The focus is on understanding form rather than copying detail, with close, individual guidance in a small group setting.
